Peter has 18 years’ experience working as a coal geologist in Australia, with operational and technical experience in both open-cut and underground mining operations. Peter has been involved in the development of multiple structural and resource models as well as management, validation and reconciliation of various databases/systems. Marcus has over 20 years’ professional experience working in mining and engineering roles throughout New South Wales, Queensland, Mongolia and Russia. Gary has over 35 years’ experience in open pit mine operations, planning, consulting, and project development. He worked as Planning Manager on the reclamation and construction of Hong Kong’s new airport. Prior to that, he held operations and technical roles in open cut metal and coal mines. He has experience in gold, coal, and base metals projects as well as civil construction projects. Gary has led technical teams on Coal and Metalliferous Due Diligence assignments to support merger and acquisition activity in all states in Australia as well as in Indonesia, China, Asia Pacific, Africa, and Mexico. Gary provides specialist expertise to strategic studies, litigation support, due diligence, operation planning, equipment selection, contract preparation, feasibility study management, financial analysis and tender assessment.

Peter is a highly skilled mining engineer with experience working across all facets of coal mining operations, including extensive experience in technical support, production scheduling, annual and long-term budget preparation, strategic planning, project evaluation and operational roles in corporate senior management, site management and leadership roles. Peter brings over 35 years’ experience in the coal industry, specialising in underground and open-cut coal mining operations. Peter has successfully managed multi-discipline teams at both mine site and corporate levels. He has extensive project development experience covering greenfield exploration, opportunity identification, scoping studies, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies. Peter is an active participant in industry-based research programs and new technology development, including ACARP and CRCMining.


ALEAHA JONES
Senior Geologist / Tenure Management Specialist

Aleaha has over 10 years’ experience in the Australian coal industry as a geologist and tenure manager. Working as a contract geologist, Aleaha developed her field experience in the Bowen, Surat and Clarence Moreton Basins in both coal and CSG exploration. Aleaha is highly skilled in writing numerous technical reports, historical research, data QAQC as well as project management, GIS, and tenure management of various sites as a sole contractor. As a tenure manager, Aleaha has extensive experience managing obligations and statutory requirements in addition to applications and renewals, departmental liaison, data auditing, new ground and acquisition assessments, and solid recommendations. Aleaha is excellent at time management and efficiency, meeting obligations and departmental deadlines. Aleaha also has a sound understanding and adherence to the Queensland Mineral Resources Act 1989 & Queensland Mineral Resources Regulation 2013. She has government access authorisation and lodgement credentials for various state departments in Queensland and New South Wales.

CHRIS GROVE

Chris has over 20 years’ professional experience working as a geologist in underground and open-pit mine operations, near mine exploration, consulting, and software training. He has significant experience in resource modelling for open-pit and underground deposits in gold, copper, nickel, lead/zinc, iron ore and coal and is a competent person in various commodities. Chris gained technical and operational experience at Pasminco’s Elura (sulphide) operation in Cobar, New South Wales and Dominion Mining’s Cosmo Howley operation in the Northern Territory. Chris is highly proficient in multiple mining software packages, including Vulcan, Surpac, Datamine, Mapinfo and Whittle.

Helen is a highly respected geospatial officer with over 30 years’ experience working with and managing spatial data and delivering a broad range of mapping and data products to a diverse industry. Exploration Supervisor / Senior Geologist

Reginald (Reggy) has 15 years’ experience in the mining industry, working on many coal exploration projects in Australia as well as oil and gas wellsite supervision. He is a career professional and has established himself as an exceptional consultant geologist with vast experience in logging, drilling and geological interpretation. He has planned and successfully executed exploration drilling programmes and worked in active mine environments as a surface mine geologist. He is a competent user of acQuire, Task Manager, Geboank and MapInfo. Reggy has worked for clients including BHP Billiton, Santos, Woodside Petroleum, Xstrata Coal and Glencore, Westside Gas, and Bowen Basin Coal.

He assisted with the drilling program and received training as an exploration geologist at South32’s Eagle Downs Coal mine.
