Lyon is a resource geologist with over 20 years mining industry experience, with a strong understanding of the link between reliable exploration data, geology interpretation and models, mine planning and, ultimately, financial valuations and assessments. Lyon’s technical expertise includes resource evaluation, estimation and reporting, technical audits, due diligence, and database design, development and management. His technical experience covers a broad range of projects, geological settings and commodities. These include coal, iron sands, gold, iron ore and nickel laterite mines and projects in Australia, South Africa, Indonesia, New Zealand, USA and South America, Russia and Iran. Principal Geologist / Director
Toby is a resource geologist with over 21 years mining industry experience who specialises in finding efficient and workable solutions to model complex geology, driving target generation, optimum resource assessment and delivering reliable outputs for mine planning and evaluations. He draws from an excellent skill set that includes exploration strategy, design and management, mining software development, geology and feasibility studies, resource estimation and reporting. Toby’s technical expertise also includes technical audits, due diligence and expert witness reporting and his technical experience covers a broad range of projects, geological settings and commodities. These include coal, nickel laterite and oil shale mines and projects in Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia. James is a geologist with over 20 years mining industry experience who specialises in corporate strategy, technical management and resource evaluation. James is passionate in his view that to release the true value of any resource, it must be well explored, interpreted and modelled, with both strengths and weaknesses understood and effectively communicated to stakeholders. He is comfortable working across disciplines to achieve clear understanding of geological inputs into project development and mining activities. James’ technical expertise includes exploration, project development and mine operations support, technical audits, due diligence, resource estimation and reporting. As a qualified and experienced project manager, he specialises in program planning and execution, founded on his skills in both technical and practical implementation. A trusted geologist and valued project representative, Peter prioritises implementing project efficiencies, ensuring exploration safety and proactive subcontractor management. PETER HANDLEY
Principal Geologist / Organisation Capability Manager
Peter has 20 years of experience working as a geologist in Australia, with operational and technical experience in both open-cut and underground mining operations. He is an advanced user of Vulcan, Minescape, Isatis and ArcGIS and is recognised as a Competent Person for resources and mineral inventory. Peter has been involved in the development of multiple resource models as well as management, validation and reconciliation of various databases/systems. He has completed various geostatistical studies and has incorporated geostatistical techniques into Measured Group's technical procedures. With his extensive knowledge of mining processes, he has managed and developed geological teams and mentored peers in geological modelling, data manipulation and interpretation methodologies. Sean is a highly skilled geologist, with over twenty years of experience across a broad range of coal projects in the Bowen, Sydney, Surat, and Clarence-Moreton Basins and in Moatize, Mozambique. Sean’s roles to date have included mine and exploration geology, exploration planning and management, geological modelling, resource estimation, coal quality scheduling and mine production planning, as well as the management of technical services and geology departments for several reputable coal organisations. Stuart has over 15 years’ experience working in Australia’s mining industry. He is a coal specialist, highly experienced in operational support, project development, resource evaluation, exploration, and safety. Stuart has conducted the full range of geological activities from tenement management, Mining Lease applications, exploration planning and execution, to cultural heritage, field supervision, resource modelling and JORC reporting.
